So, for the past 3 MONTHS, I guess you can call them “workers”, have been “working” on the roof of my apartment building. See, I live on the top floor, so I can hear pretty much everything that they’re doing. I mean it wouldn’t bother me so much, because I can sleep through pretty much anything; fire alarms, roommates fighting with their girlfriends, jackhammers on the roof, you name it, I can probably sleep through it. Thats not the problem. This crew must be a bunch of fuckin morons, because all they do is fuckin pound on the roof! Anyone who stays over, including my singer, Andrew, can not sleep past 7 in the a.m. due to the extreme noise caused by these “workers”. But, like I said, for me, thats not the problem.

One day, about a month ago, in the afternoon, they were just going crazy. It seriously sounded like they had elephants up there. CRASH! BOOM! BANG! POW!! Eventually, i heard the loudest pounding to date, followed by cracking sounds, IN MY CEILING! 2 cracks in the ceiling in my room, followed by spackle falling all over my clothes, and my bed. A huge crack in the kitchen, spackle all over the floor. I thought to myself, “this is ridiculous! Just ridiculous!!!” I hoped that was that…

I came home about a week ago, and in the stairwell up to my apartment, there was a bucket. Just a bucket, nothing mysterious, you know, a bucket. A pretty large one at that. Well, I thought to myself, “this is odd, I wonder why this is here…” So I took a look around, couldn’t find anything. Then I looked in the bucket, and it’s damn near half full of water!! The goddamn ceiling, I mean ROOF, is leaking!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?! They were just fuckin “working” on it!! FOR 3 MONTHS!!!! I thought they were supposed to fix the roof, NOT MAKE IT LEAK!!! So, i thought that was pretty funny. What group of morons gets hired to fix a roof, and leaves it leaking!?!? I mean, really? So, once again, I hoped that was that.

Wrong again!!!

I wake up this morning. I hear a weird dripping sound close by. I start to move a bit, and realize my feet are all wet! Im layin here goin what the hell?!?! I look around, and to my astonishment, the ceiling is leaking, ON MY BED!!!! So, I went and got my own bucket, and now its on my bed, filling up with water, as we speak. Or rather, as I type. I hope by the time you read this, this will all be over. If not, Im sure you will hear about it…

Im going to call my landlord right now…
